On 1 of my working Win10 PCs with the Dell 3100cn drivers it shows I have looked under spool\drivers and spool\printers and there is no *.inf files. If I click on the printer I get open Q, manage, remove device. Can you narrow down where to look? How about is there a way to figure out which *.inf files are being used on the 2 windows 10 machines I have the printer drivers loaded on? I tried to manually load the printer drivers. I put C:\windows\system32 on a flash drive. Then instruct Windows to search that folder for the driver, with the "Search Sub Folders" option selected.I need a little help. If not then you can copy the entire C:\Windows\System32 folder tree from a working computer into some data folder on the new computer. The drivers should be available through the Windows Update option ( either directly or by updating your printer database ). If not then you will need to manually enter the IP address of the printer by creating a TCP port and then load the drivers. When you run the Add Printer Wizard it should locate the printer on the network and ask you for drivers.
